Each of these ceramic picture frames is individually slab built, shaped, carved and glazed by hand.

These frames were a bit of an experiment for me and are more rustic than some of my usual work, but that’s part of what I love about them. They’re a little wonky, a little imperfect, and full of the marks that come from being completely handmade.

After their glaze firing, each frame goes through a third firing with real gold luster, adding tiny gold details and accents throughout. The additional firing and use of real gold luster is reflected in the price of each frame.

* Designed to hang on the wall and become part of your own collection of things that mean something. Frames hang simply from one or two nails, each order will include instructions for hanging your frame and inserting your photo.
